About This Exhibition
A campus-wide exhibition celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary. Curators selected over 70 artworks from the MFAH collection — from golden antiquities and Native American pottery to vast painted landscapes and large-scale installations of futuristic cities — reflecting the complexity and diversity of the American experience. Works are displayed throughout galleries on the main campus and at both house museums: Bayou Bend Collection and Gardens, and Rienzi.
